A Stitch Away officially opened October 10. 2008. I think that the name says it all, and hope that someday I will be able to offer a little of everything that involves stitching. The store started with fabrics for quilter’s and yarn for crocheter’s and knitter’s,  I have since added vendors that have rented space and I am always taking in consignments so if your looking for a special gift, you should stop in and look around. 

My most recent addition is bringing in a new vendor that I think your going to enjoy.

Stitch Nitch Nite! - Everyone is invited to Stitch Nitch Nite, it will normally take place the 2nd Friday of each month.  It is a chance to get together, meet other needle lovers and work on those UFO's (unfinished objects). You don't have to schedule, just drop in anytime between the hours of 6:00 - 9:00, bring a cold drink, and we will even welcome your cooking or baking items. If you don't feel like cooking bring $5.00 and we can all pitch in for pizza.

Hugs of Hope! -  a group from Lighthouse Fellowship Assembly of God have started to get together every 1st and 3rd Monday to make blankets, hats, scarves, and more for women and children who are suffering from domestic violence - or anyone that is in need of a hug..The group is inviting anyone that would like to participate, so please come and help

*****Don't forget we take in old patterns and sell them - all proceeds go to the Millington Crisis Cntr. We also take stashes of yarn, it is used to make blankets for the homless, as well as being used by Hugs of Hope.
